QUALITY THAT WORKS for my opinion

This doorbell system works! I have tried other systems and not one comes even close to this system. The "ringers" plug directly into any AC receptacle and do not require batteries. The "ringers" can be easily relocated when needed and the two units that come with the system provide adequate coverage for the average house. I ordered an additional "ringer" that I plug into an outdoor receptacle when I am in the backyard. The door buttons are easy to install either with screws (which I did) or tape - both items supplied. The "ringers" also blink when activated, an added plus not contained in the product description.MAY 2016 - Just purchased a second set for my NJ home but this time I ordered the "water proof" buttons since they will be somewhat exposed. Placed one at every level of my home and all work fine. Thinking about installing one outside for when we are working in the garden.JUNE 2016 - Waterproof button - they are just what the manufacturer states - "water resistant". So far they have withstood some serious rain storms but it will take at least a year to evaluate correctly. I do advise putting a little dab of sealant over the top slot to give the button extra protection from the snow that will eventually come.AUGUST 2016 - Battery operated ringer - The arrival of my battery operated ringer completes my whole house doorbell/ringer system - one ringer on every floor and one outside on the deck. I needed a battery powered ringer because all other electrical receptacles were in use for other devices. Because it is battery operated we leave this one indoors where it serves as an additional ringer until we go outside. Works just as well as the plug-in ones work and it can even be put in a garden cart while we are working in the rear yard.

Pros
  • Long-range coverage
Cons
  • Limited lifespan for the batteries
