Once I got the base mounted to the wall which was fairly easy, the sturdiness was just too flimsy. The base flexes and bends too easy, it feels like I could just rip it off the wall. Also, as I was disassembling the movable fixture from the base, one of the hinge clips snapped right off. I was still able to make it work with the other hinge clip and a little glue once I found the right angle, I just wish the whole thing was sturdier. my house came with a DC power supply for the door bell. i hooked up the new Ring and it would lose its mind and ring for no reason. finally figured out the RIng uses 25AC like every other house i have lived in. once i swapped to a 25 AC it worked as marketed. its nice that this unit detect body shapes and does not alert you if a car of truck goes by. you can configure this option.

Perfect for the ring pro. Our doorbell was installed on the side wall and didn’t provide a great view for the ring. This product solved our issue.Very affordable. Made well and very easy to install. Came with all hardware snd screws needed.

I have a side door entry that rarely gets used but if I had a front door entry a Ring video is a must. Great product with a perfect video camera!

I had wanted to get the Doorbell Ring for our home but never did since our doorbell faces our wall in our entry way. Now with this adjustable piece we are able to have it connected for our doorbell and still be able to see what’s goin on in front our our property. My husband had no problem installing it. We’ve had it for 4 months now and it’s endured my 4 year old constantly bumping it when he pushes the button.

This product is perfect if your doorbell is not on the same wall as your front door. With it you can adjust how much angle you want. I wanted to wire my Ring directly to the low voltage wire and to capture video of whoever is walking up to my front door. Definitely recommend.

Great product for what its it's worth! I had the ring manufacturer product that didn't adjust like this one does, therefore I couldn't get the correct angles from my camera without the dominant glare of the white door, right next to my camera. This product did the trick to allow a wider range of degrees to adjust my camera away from my door. Boom! The item is designed to do its job. It wasn't designed well to accommodate different outdoor surface such as stone and masonry type walls. The material is quite flimsy. I hope it was made of some tough plastic.

The part came as promised. It seemed a bit flimsy as it even came apart making me think anyone that comes to my house would be able to pull my Ring 1 off the base part of the angle. Wish it made use of existing Ring 1 drill holes instead of drilling new holes for the top and bottom. Once it was all connected it seemed okay but I haven't tried pulling on it (Also now have the locking screw on it.)

I love this mounting bracket. The first one I bought was perfect to cover a driveway and garage door area. The second one is ideal for a front porch.

The Ring Doorbell 2 does come with a angle mount with the box however it didn't reach the angle I was pleased with so this was a good buy to fix the problem

I waited quite awhile before posting this review because I wanted to ensure the angle mount (that I mounted my Video Doorbell to) would withstand the elements and usage. It's been a few months now and the angle mount has been perfect. I only had to use the minimum mount angle and, as you can see via the field-of-view from my Video Doorbell, the front door and sidewalk are both in view. Great product and easy to install.
