This was just what we needed. Last year we built our first Christmas Village using recycled plastic. It was fair, but bulky and difficult to handle. So I bet on it and it's great. It's a bit like kosher salt, but definitely in flake form. More than grains of salt or sugar. It doesn't crack for me. It's easy to place, make snow drifts, and attach to the edge of sidewalks and paths. It also has a little crystal shimmer. Hope the photos help.
