These chairs are so pretty! I ordered four to use with the round glass table. They don't smell at all. Some complained about the mothball smell, but the two sets I ordered didn't have it. They may have changed the way they store it. The color is a bit more turquoise than blue but when I assembled the set in my breakfast room they looked blue enough and beautiful! Some complain that they wobble a bit, but that may be due to the uneven floor and mounting method. For example, when I adjusted the chair in the hallway according to her instructions, it didn't wobble at all, but when I moved it to my dining room, it wobbled a little there. I don't think my floors are perfectly level. However, as soon as I sit down in the chair, they sit flush to the floor and don't move at all. They are comfortable, although firmness varies slightly from chair to chair. In addition, one of the chairs looks a bit crooked, but this is hardly noticeable. The confusion for some I think is that they are trying to get the legs in the first hole near the screws, but actually need to put the legs in the second hole to get the legs to sit flush with the end.
