Well if like me you are wondering if they are long enough to tie through the channel on the sides of your homemade mask the answer is yes - - if your masks are the same size as mine and your ears are in the same place as mine. Hmm... that's not very helpful. I hope the attached photos show what I mean. My masks measure just under 10 inches from side to side, I put this elastic through the channel, tied a small square knot, and I had about 7 inches of loop left to make it around my ear, which was more than enough, also without stretching the elastic (so I was glad they had an adjuster.) The elastic is a soft, rounded material. I'm happy with the purchase - initially I was just looking for regulators, I found this kit with a rubber band for not much more money.
