Not nearly comparable to Eneloop

Don't let anyone tell you they're comparable to Eneloop. After purchasing this kit, I ran two simple tests. I removed the 3 year old Eneloops from the outdoor solar lights and replaced them with Tenergy. All enelupes glow throughout the night. Tenergy is barely visible at 10:00 p.m. because only the poles are exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day. The rest are long dead. As soon as 11 p.m., all Tenergy give up and Eneloop laughs. Likewise, I took a snowman for the house that chews batteries. I always use 3 AA Eneloops and they need to be charged every 3 days. With the Tenergy replacement, the snowman darkened in a day and a half. So basically they score twice as bad as Eneloop if I have to rate that. Currently, 24 of these cost about as much as 16 Eneloops. Also, the Eneloops were 3 years old and used almost constantly compared to the new Tenergy. And yes, I fully charged Tenergys before testing. Overall there is no comparison in terms of cost, IMO. I deliberately used the word "remote" in the title. That's what they're good for. Here's how I'm going to use them. At least the color is nice. The advantage of Tenergy is obvious.

Pros
  • Save money, be environmentally friendly - as one of the most economical batteries, Tenergy AA batteries are rechargeable up to 1000 times, 1 to 10 charges are worth it. You also reduce your carbon footprint by limiting the waste generated by single-use batteries. Switch. Save on computer. Reuse. Recharge your batteries with Tenergy.
Cons
  • boring packaging
