Review on πŸŒ™ Safety 1st Nap and Go Rocking Bassinet: Star Gazer - Ensuring Safe Sleep for Your Baby by Terry Gernes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I've ever bought!

I just LOVE this bassinet! We also have a Mika Mickey bedside table, but she just couldn't feel comfortable in it. I think it's still too big for her so we put it away as she never used it. We'll switch to it once she outgrows it. It's the perfect size for her and the canopy is a life saver. We have large French doors overlooking the backyard and they let in lots of light. When we watch TV I just cover it with a reflective blanket so the light doesn't wake her. The web is great because I can watch it without looking in if it just stretches and goes back to sleep. I like that I can rock them, but I can also block them when we have our large dogs inside (which is now mostly the case when it's cold outside). Best of all, it folds up VERY easily and slips into your travel bag. I take it with me everywhere, even if we just go to my MIL for a meal or a BBQ! It's actually smaller than your car seat when packed! And it's so light! I can carry a diaper bag, a bassinet in one hand, and a baby in the other! It's actually smaller than I thought it would be, which ended up being a great space saver. If I put it against the wall when not in use, you won't even notice it's there! I would say it sits very low. I'm 5ft 1in and even I have to bend my knees a bit to get it in there. So if you are tall, this could be a major inconvenience for you. But it's the perfect height for next to the couch. Personally, I had to have a caesarean, which was a great relief for me. I'll be so sad when she grows out of this. I'm sure I won't find anything that comfortable when the time comes.
