I tend to use products for a couple of months prior to writing my review as I feel that gives me a better perspective where I can provide more insight into the product.I ordered the queen size pillow case and it is larger than the average pillow case so there is additional material around my memory foam pillow.I assume, that like anyone shopping for this product, I also struggle with getting hot throughout the night. I have hunted for cooler sheets, comforters, duvets, duvet covers, pillowcases for years. I’ve found some that are better than others but have yet to find the perfect combination.I do find that this pillowcase feels cooler when first laying down. The small pillow pockets and quilted pattern allows for some airflow which aides in cooling. Unfortunately only one side of the case has the cooling materiel. That doesn’t make sense to me. Anyone who is purchasing this wants maximum cooling and will not be looking to flip their pillow to a warm side.I was fairly impressed with this product until I washed it a few times. Each time I washed it I did in cold water then hung to dry. No matter what I do this pillow case develops terrible pilling and fuzz. After about a month of use and my washing it weekly, the case just looks a dingy color - as if it hasn’t been laundered. I am unsure why this has occurred nor how to prevent it. I hate having a pillow on my bed that, even though I know it’s clean, appears dirty.At this point I’m tempted to dye the pillowcase.While I do think this pillowcase helps with cooling more than most the fact that I simply can not get it completely clean is a major failing. The pilling is ridiculous as I am so careful when washing it and have never had any other item do that to this extent.Hopefully the manufacturer will improve on this product as it does have promise but currently this is not a product I would recommend.
