I do not recommend this product or company. While the outcome of the actual product was negligible, the customer care and costly damage caused by this product is too risky when you cannot afford costly repairs due to the potential Plink failure that can happen to your car. With normal use it still fell off where it was hooked and landed on the bottom of my dishwasher where it melted onto the heating element, attaching to a screw on the bottom of the dishwasher and needed a professional to replace the part, which is now is causing a horrible burnt smell coming out of my dishwasher and identifying where the screw came from and replacing it. The smell is so strong that we cannot use or open the dishwasher as it smells all over the kitchen. I called the company who offered to replace the $6 purchase price and offered "good faith" $25 for my repair cost. It costs $125 to get someone to look at the dishwasher plus all repair and labor costs. I was told that if I agree that the product warranty has expired, there is nothing I can proceed with. I've used the item as listed and it's only a few weeks old so I believe it's a quality control issue at Plink that they don't anticipate. It's more than dislike or her stains on my glasses. This resulted in a potentially very expensive repair or possibly replacement of my entire dishwasher depending on how deep the plastic melted into my machine.
