Half of my fan's functions stopped working with its remote control. I was able to turn the fan on with the wall switch, but the light came on and didn't turn off. Really didn't want the light on during the day to use the fan. Only 2 out of 3 fan speeds worked. It's a beautiful fan and a similar replacement costs a lot more than I thought it would, so I took a chance and swapped out the remote. This remote was more expensive than I expected, but the savings from not having to replace the fan were worth it. The new remote worked great to turn on and use all of my fan's functions (lights, dimmer, fan and speed). I am very happy with my purchase!
