Not the Best Not the Worst Installation Tips and Things to Look Forward To

First of all, I'm a novice car audio installer. I chose this rear camera because other reviews mentioned the small hole to drill and the excellent image quality. Now that I first got the camera I noticed that the hole that needed to be drilled was going to be closer to 3/4 inch. it is not small. Also note that the main unit's red automatic cable that runs through the RCA cable does not have a mount on the end of the camera. The instructions don't say what to do with it. There is no splice to feed it. Therefore, you need to route a separate wire to the reverse light. The cable for this is not included so I cut the power cable they supply which was very short and detached from this cable. But as said the power cord they supply is short so on a standard car with trunk and reversing lights there isn't one on the sunroof. You will need a piece of wire to add to the wire provided. After everything is installed, everything works as it should. The picture quality is normal when the following cars are reversing at night. There, the headlights create a black halo from the reflection. So you will see this with any type of reflective material like Crome. All in all for the price, whether it's worth it is up to you to decide. Update after about a week the image from the camera became 80% black. I ended up returning a new product because Revain thought I might have a bad camera. After installing a new one from the same manufacturer, the picture became clearer, but black dots still appear in the video in some places. I would stay away from this brand in the future, you will definitely get what you pay for with this camera.
