Tight enough to wear on a scooter and not fall off, but not so tight that it leaves a nasty mark on my forehead. Ideal for the cool spring and autumn or mild winter days. Or cool summer nights in the desert/mountains. Since there is no inner lining, it is breathable. great color Casual enough to wear anytime, but beautiful enough to wear with a nice, more formal outfit when you don't want to freeze. My head is oval, 56.5 cm at its widest circumference. Seems well done. It's still fairly new, but I've worn it a few times and it doesn't have any major lint or scuffs yet, which is pretty cool.
