I bought these to replace the Drobo which I've been perfectly happy with but they seem to be filling up so I'll get off this boat before it sinks. The hardware seems to be really well made and the SoftRaid software seems to be. . . appropriate. Time will tell how it will turn out. The documentation is fine, but it may take some research to understand what you really need to do in each case. It's not exactly "plug and play".
