If I had known more about TR sockets before buying, I would have chosen another brand. TR plugs make it very difficult and in some cases impossible to use some plugs, including new devices and electronic devices. For example, my new MacBook Pro won't plug into TR jacks, but older devices and plugs may work after spending time wiggling and wiggling the plugs. TR plugs are a really big problem and since we don't have kids in our house they are of no use. The installation was very difficult because the socket was too big and there was almost no space in the box for wiring. If possible, use a power strip where only one outlet is one of these outlets to leave room for wiring.
