According to the directions on the bottle, you can spit or swallow, but after two sips I was too energetic to continue drinking and spat out the rest of the first and the entire second after a 60 second sip. The taste (vanilla) was almost like sucking on a bottle of fake vanilla extract which was very sweet and overpowering and difficult to swallow without choking. But except for the rough taste, I passed (thank goodness). I don't know if I can praise all of this because I stopped using anything at least 2 weeks before the test, but it definitely helped me deal with the situation psychologically, so take what you will from this review. lol.
