I bought this item this year because I wanted to upgrade my 720P camera system. Customer service is excellent and they really do go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your purchase. . I dealt with MARVIN and she was great and patient. It sometimes took a while to get a reply from her due to the time difference, but she always answered my emails and calls. There are sooooo many different DVRs and cameras out there and I have tried many of them to look for a system that works for me and this system is probably one of the best and I compare it to all types of systems. Picture is excellent, better than some 5mp and 4k systems. The cameras are not waterproof, but they are waterproof. After a while water seeps into them unless they are covered with an awning or something else. Even with higher quality cameras like these sometimes they don't work when 4 cameras are plugged into the same outlet. If you have this problem I'm sure they will send you a new power plug. I checked online and this could be an issue with any system. I'll see if I can answer some customer questions.
