Affordable and WORKING

I was skeptical of a dual HDMI and USB-C device at this price point. Luckily it works. Connect the USB-C power adapter to the hub and the hub to the USB-C port. Anything connected to the hub becomes available on the Windows device. A NOTICE. The device does not change the functions of the operating system. For Mac, it copies the monitor (see other reviews). For Windows it works. I hooked it up to two 27" ASUS monitors on an HP laptop and an ASUS laptop. Both run the latest version of Windows 10. Both worked flawlessly. I changed desktop settings for individual monitors and connected a wired keyboard and mouse. into the USB ports and I was ready to go. I needed more USB ports, so I added a small USB-A hub separately for the webcam and headset. It has been used for over a month with no problems. Pros: Inexpensive, dual HDMI monitors, small. Worked on the 1st try with no problems. Cons: Requires more than 2 USB-A ports, one or two USB-C ports. Has a limited maximum resolution (which was not a problem in my case). The USB cable to the computer should be longer. When the laptop is closed, the dual monitor is more consistent, meaning there is no lag in recognizing the two monitors. It works with all three, it's just sometimes slow to recognize the second HDMI. I suspect it has something to do with integrated graphics or USB-C video pass-through. ** The Ethernet port has NOT been tested yet.
