WILL NOT OPEN FOR USED 3 " JAWS.

FYI for anyone considering purchasing. The description says they have a 3" hole. NOT THAT. them will not. The maximum opening of the inner part of the jaw at the tip is 2.5. USED clamp size is more like 2.125. They are very thin. Plastic protectors tend to slip off. I fully understand that they are a lot too are cheap. They are good for use in light conditions, but WILL NOT OPEN TO A USEFUL 3" JAW.

do the job BUT - clamps

work for the purpose of clamping. A downside is that the rubber ends tend to fall off. In this case the metal part of the clamps will come in contact with what you clamp and can cause a metallic imprint or slipping since there is no rubber. I take these collars off and on all the time and if the elastics hold up. falling is annoying. If you don't constantly remove and reattach the brackets, it's not a problem. Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars because there is a solution. Pour glue on the elastic and…

Very happy with it.

Yes I think for the price and the amount you get it's a good deal. I bought these to have a variety of gardening needs on hand but ended up using them with netting to shade my chickens. We've had quite a few hurricanes this year and it's been terribly hot then cold and then very humid and they've held up well on the south side of the barn. I actually bought a second set, I put so much thought into it. Yes, some of the rubber tips fell off, but that can be fixed with a dab of glue or something…

Very strong clamp handle

Very durable and worth the money. My only complaint is that the orange rubber pieces covering the teeth slide off easier than I thought. Be prepared for some of them to stick to whatever you're clamping on if you remove them before they hit the ground. It's not a show stopper, just a little annoying. They are durable and have a very strong hold. Some people may need to use two hands to open their jaws, while others may need to use one. In the photo they are holding a net on the sides of two…

Good price but not the best

For clamping very small items less than 2.5cm thick these clamps get more than 4 stars but if you are trying to clamp something thicker than To clamp 1" you need to be careful because there is an edge on the metal that will bite into the wood. In addition, the rubber on the clamping surface keeps falling off, which is very annoying when you clamp material with wet glue. I also had a pair that had the clamping surfaces bent on arrival. They still work well, only the metal edge of the clip is…

Inexpensive spring clips Clips

I needed a lot of medium pressure clips to make a hard surface countertop. I rarely use this type of clamp, so I really didn't want to spend more than necessary to get the job done in one go. For the price I wanted to try them before spending more. I always buy the best tools because I see them as an investment. These clamps do not have extreme clamping force, which is not required for most connection operations. You don't want to pinch so tight that there isn't any glue to hold your pieces…

Keeps dog food fresh

I was struggling to figure out the best way to keep my dog food fresh. I buy 40 pound bags of dog food. Experts recommend storing dog food in its original packaging as the pouch is for the food inside. Standard pocket clips are too weak. These heavy duty clamps work great. I open one or two types of dog food at a time and put the opened bags in a large plastic bag. When I'm done feeding, I roll up the top of each pouch and squeeze out the air. I use two or three clips on each bag to keep food…
