I needed a lot of medium pressure clips to make a hard surface countertop. I rarely use this type of clamp, so I really didn't want to spend more than necessary to get the job done in one go. For the price I wanted to try them before spending more. I always buy the best tools because I see them as an investment. These clamps do not have extreme clamping force, which is not required for most connection operations. You don't want to pinch so tight that there isn't any glue to hold your pieces together. These clips worked great and I can use them again now but I probably won't need them as I have all the countertops I need for my kitchen and bathroom ready.
