Review on Petlinks 49900 Hanging Cat Scratchers by Beth Williams

This scratching post looks better than many as the base is neutral fabric and the rope is light colored instead of brown. Fits well in our bedroom and blends in really well - you hardly notice it. I didn't originally plan on using the scratching post by the bed, but the cat started to take an interest in the padding at the foot of the bed, and by "interested" I mean wanting to poke holes in it and attack it. Now she uses this scratching post. I was only playing with the little dongle the first few times I encountered her, but she still uses this scratching post regularly along with her other scratching post behind the couch. And she needed no training; She just started using it as soon as I brought it in and switched from using the bed to using the scratching post. The base is pretty light, so the first few times she used it, she tipped over and ran away in fear. However, she learned quickly and now seems to know exactly how much weight and/or tipping he can handle. Good value for money, nice view, would buy again!
