I bought these mugs to use with resin. I mix up large batches and use these mugs to separate and add different colors, glitter, etc. They're so convenient that small cups mean smaller popsicle sticks, which I also prefer. Because these mugs are made from polypropylene (#5 recyclable), the resin on the mug doesn't harden, so I can take it off and use the mugs again, which I really like. It should be noted that there is a small groove/notch at the bottom of the cup. It doesn't have ribs on the sides like apothecary cups, so they beat those. Overall I really enjoy this use and will definitely order again. Since I don't need tops either, I'm very glad I don't have to buy or use them.
