I bought this for my son who will be 3 years old soon. I bought it in size 3T and the size is spot on. It works now but it will work for a while. However, he is thinner and smaller for his age. If your little one tends to be larger for their age, then it makes sense to enlarge them. The price of the t-shirt is more or less what you would pay if you found the t-shirt on sale in any of the major baby/baby clothing stores. It's definitely better than paying full price at Carters or anywhere else. The fabric quality is good; it is soft and appears to be made of cotton.
