I have had two of these mounted on road tubes for a couple of years. Impeccable performance, despite the discarded bottles (camelbacks), holds fine bottles from the purist, Zipp. Installed one behind the saddle on a tricycle, put it in an Xlab stock bottle, ran for almost a season and ended up breaking the top grip finger. At your own risk, to be honest, as Zipp specifically mentions that these frames are designed to mount on highway and mountain tubes. One star off for throwing away camelback bottles, otherwise the best cage I've ever had for a road bike.
