Bought these for system builds to use as MOBO 4 pin extensions. and there was only one thing - durability. When taking it out of the box, one of the wires/connectors came loose from the case that connects to the motherboard. I have a feeling this could have been avoided if the wires had been covered with ferrules and perhaps a non-conductive glue had been used. But that would increase the cost. Sent them back, got replacements and the new ones were fine. (I was also careful not to take them out of the plastic bag with my hand.) Once I plugged them in, they worked fine. If you buy them, be very careful when you take them out of the plastic bag they come in. do what I did and disable one of the ports.
