My daughter has ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and frequently has issues with loud noises for extended periods. She had been coming home complaining of head aches and getting escalated over it. I bought these, her preferred color, and she loves them. However, they do not completely block out the noise. She said she hears things but its not very loud and is pleased. I appreciate being able to get it next day with prime and not having to wait an extended period to get them. These are definitely great to get to see if your child would keep them on/like them. However, down the road I am going to consider getting ones more geared to canceling the majority of sound out. These are great for her to wear in class, as she is able to still hear the instructor.
