Unboxing; Well, I doubted the wisdom of this purchase because of all the YouTube reviews of the Canon version: zoom issues, noisy autofocus motor, and more. But I have a Nikon d3400, I must have gotten a new version because my SILENT AS A CHURCH MOUSE auto focus works like a charm in the viewfinder and in real time. In a few days I will give my official review with photos. The only thing I wished for was 85mm for Nikon. TO UPDATE. After unpacking, I was able to take this lens with me for a short test drive; As mentioned, Helens is as steady in focus as the mo Nikon 35mm 1.8g. I didn't find the so-called SWEET SPOT when focusing, but I can say that the lens is quite sharp. I had an issue with focusing in LIVE VIEW, but I fixed it by turning tracking off and on again. The D3400 isn't that good at tracking, so there's nothing to worry about. So here are a few pictures from the weekend. I did not perform LENS CORRECTION on these images.
