Review on πŸ“Έ Enhance your Photography: MINT TL70 Lens Set with ND Filters, Closeup Lens, and Lens Hood by Steve Beaumont

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not for the faint of heart

I don't know how Mint succeeded, but they've recreated the twin-lens SLR in all its whimsical glory AND managed to combine it with the equally whimsical nature of instant film. These are two amazing horrors. Difficult to focus and set exposure (as it could be with the original TLRs). It's difficult to get a sharp image with instant film (just like with old Polaroid photos that were often blurry and a bit fuzzy). But what a fun camera to play around with. Just don't expect perfection. This camera is for lovers of retro photography. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners, which is why it only gets 4 stars from me (I rate it loosely, most things get 5 stars mostly). If you are a camera enthusiast this is a good addition to your collection. Just take your time with it. This is not a point and shoot camera. You'll probably spend a roll or two of film to find out, but it's well worth the time and effort.
