I have nothing against metric units for any system of measurement, I would just prefer this product to remember what my last unit of measurement was was, so I don't have to restart every time. At least it's very easy to find the "Unit" button to swap them out. The clinical thermometer works very well. It reads the temperature very quickly and accurately. The unit even has recommended safe temperatures printed on it, so you don't have to remember them for pork, chicken, etc. The magnetic back is a nice feature so I can make sure it's right where I need it.
