As a standard, I prefer my low socks to have more cotton in them for cushioning and to wick away sweat. Nowadays I almost exclusively wear high socks. They are quite thin and have a translucent appearance. when wearing. My first thoughts were "Will I like them?" After wearing them for about a week I'm a fan of them, they are thin but very comfortable. When I pull my foot out of my shoes after a hike or work where I would normally expect my foot to be quite sweaty, they weren't. I was expecting my shoes to be sweaty, but I haven't posted the numbers there yet. In general - very satisfied.
