I love Derwent Inktense pencils but can't afford a large set so I've tried to expand my selection. At first I was disappointed with the color choice when it arrived. It's a small set, but after playing with it I completely changed my mind. These pens lay nicely on their side and produce interesting colors. I'm not an experienced colorist so I'll end up buying a larger set so I have more color options, but this is an amazing starter set! The colors seem to be of better quality than my Prisma crayons but I still use them due to the sheer amount of colors they hold.
