Sweeping up cat hair and dirt with a regular broom only scatters them, so I checked out the rubber broom. I've read all the reviews and being weak and not going to bolt seems to be the biggest complaint until I got to this broom. I just got this and tried it. It feels very solid and the mechanism for attaching the head is fairly secure and won't let it unscrew during use. The stem has a good weight and the telescopic option is reliable in use. It picks up cat hair and dirt well and doesn't scatter them everywhere. Good product so far. The only drawback is the purple color.
