These containers are made of high-impact plastic and can withstand almost any rough treatment. At 17 inches tall and 21 inches long, they're capable of handling many larger household items that wouldn't even fit in a regular sized paper box. they are resistant to mold and moisture (unlike cardboard boxes) and can be closed with cable ties. Not waterproof, but at least you don't have to worry about moisture getting in from below if you have them in a storage room or basement. Generally an excellent quality product.
