I cannot speak with the same authority as some of the reviewers who own these and very expensive in-ear monitors. I play guitar and sing in a semi-pro rock band, weekend warriors you could say, and we've recently started using them at our gigs. I have no problems and hear things I hadn't noticed before like the separation of tones between guitars, bass and vocals. The result is much better harmony, and since we're running the house mix through monitors, I tend to play quieter and more precisely than with wedges. I had a pair of Mackie EMs that are a bit blurry and compressed. At the same volume, they are more eloquent. I'll stick with these things for a while.
