I bought this item because I've been traveling in the van for a few weeks and didn't want to take my good corkscrew from home and risk leaving it in the van. My beautiful corkscrew was part of a gift basket years ago and unfortunately the company that makes it doesn't have a trademark on it. I tried to find one as close as possible to my good one and this one turned out to be almost identical. But something is wrong with the design. At first he pulls the cork well, but when he reaches the critical point he stops pushing the cork up and the cork breaks. Unfortunately I missed my return window and after another try and another broken cork last night it ends up in the bin - I won't even be giving it away.
