I trawled through almost every major flagship mouse from every major manufacturer before I found the wireless Mamba. All Logitech mice felt better at first, but after prolonged use my arms started to cramp. The only thing missing from the Corsair mice was something I couldn't identify. They felt cheap and the mice didn't slide across the mat as easily as I would have liked. I even considered a wired connection before spending $100 on a mouse, but decided to give it a try because I have a fanatical Razor friend who swears by his Razor mice. yes, mice. So I bought this mouse after trying the clutch. in the shop. My first impression is how much I love the slightly raised rubber grips on the sides that make it easy to lift and move. Secondly, I liked the one with my rather extreme claw grip, which suited me very well. After installing the software and using it on my desktop, I have to say it has the SMOOTH sensor I've ever felt. It beats everything else, and I love the Synapse software, which lets you set programmable DPI shifting, lighting, and custom profiles. I was further concerned about the battery life as with the highest scores from other brands I was lucky enough to get 2 days. Use of "fur". Not difficult and not easy. The first thing I did in Synapse was turn off the LEDs on this mouse and I kept using the mouse like it was my Logitech Marathon I was trying to get away from. So if I leave the mouse idle and use it probably 4-5 hours a day after work and 4-8 hours on weekends, I've got close to 2 weeks on a single charge! WOW! Damn amazing! It's also delayed! However, I encountered a small problem that confused me. I kept my mouse receiver dongle in the same port for years because it's a good place to receive, but with Mamba I got weird mouse reporting behavior where battery life and profile switching didn't work. Turns out it was the USB3 port that was causing the interference so I moved it to USB2 and now the problem seems to be gone. It's a bit strange because my marathon has never been stressful, but it's no big deal. After playing 3 hours of Borderlands with no cramps, good battery life, great gameplay and great settings, I'm very happy with my final choice! . unless they added a hyper scroll option for the scroll wheel like I have in Marathon. Man I miss that but this mouse is amazing! Make no mistake! I'm very happy with it and may have to go to Razor first to buy a mouse in the future!
