Review on DREAMGRIP Enhanced Lightweight Universal LWT 138ER 41 by John Collins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Weak case and lack of quick reset. screw head.

This is a great product considering the device it comes in. If you want to use it as a running and recording tripod for other cameras, don't waste your time. This tripod seemed to be made specifically for screw mounting. The tripod is so light it's thin and looks like it's going to break any second. It also needs a larger head to hold the cage for the included camera. It's clear it wasn't made for running and shooting and once you start adding all the parts it becomes too heavy for the tripod head. So expect how you make it. A head stand will still tip over. However, I'm not mad about it. I just think it should be a more solid tripod for the way they advertise and outfit the whole device. I would pay a little more for a more durable version. Also, it's not designed to be quickly attached like most tripod heads. It just screws into the Dream block, which is also a problem with run-and-gun videos. I give it 3 stars because it really works and it's very light as advertised. I just need to clean up the thin body and screw head a bit. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Oh I forgot to say it's very compact. This would be ideal for a Go Pro or Cannon eos M series camera, for example, but not the included Dreamgrip. The length and size of the device is too large and uncomfortable to hold a tripod effectively. Hope this helps you. All in all, it's an interesting device, but I definitely give the customer service team a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. They are cool.
