This Barbie house has been assembled. All we had to do was take it out of the box, slip the various accessories into the slots provided, stick on some stickers, and it was rocked and rolled. It has a barbie bed, stove that converts to dining table with two chairs, shower, potty, opening door and what my 3 year old calls a toy box :). It has various essentials: cutlery, glasses and plates, a kettle and so on. My daughter loved it and calls it her dream home. You don't need much space in your house or children's room for this Barbie house/apartment. Folds up and has a carrying handle for portability. Everything fits in. It is made of plastic and some parts are very small. A rude child can easily break parts of the house by stepping on it or attack it with a metal toy on wheels (e.g. a toy shopping cart). My 3 year old daughter will be 4 soon and won't put everything in her mouth anymore. This was a Christmas morning favorite and I expect to use it all the time. It doesn't come with the doll.
