I have to fly a lot with my child. It also means my car seat. I have a Graco Forever DXL 4 in a or something that weighs about 20 pounds. And uncomfortable to hold. Throw in an irritable toddler and airport life will drive you insane. I bought this with the idea of putting it on him. After my first successful ride with it, I really cried. My rides without it were so bad that this little cart worked even though I had to go down three flights of real stairs. Not a single wheel broke, although I had to fall step by step. The attached straps held tight so the loose strap was a bonus. I have to drive with a bag in the car seat. I wouldn't recommend putting a child in it just because the thought of a child riding on something not intended for them seems dangerous plus the fact that you can move the cart without leaning over what I have done. I just pushed them. But the unstable surfaces made the seat wobble and I had to readjust it several times. So no, don't roll baby, just roll bags that fit your seat. Jackets etc. Go for it!
