I bought them specifically to give my Ardunocam more reach for mounting so it can display better on my Pi 3D printer with Octoprint. I plugged it in, turned on the system, the LCD was blank and the camera was starting to get very, very, very hot in my hand. I figured a bad cable so I got the longest one, plugged it in, booted up and the same thing happened. Luckily it didn't fry the camera or the PI, but it must have really messed up the Pi's graphics since the LCD wasn't working. I plugged in the original short cable that came with the camera, booted it up and everything worked again. Then I thought maybe it had something to do with the camera so I connected it to the LCD screen and started again. No, there's nothing there either, the screen is blank. Went back to the DSI cable that came with the shield and everything worked again, so these cables must not be for use with a Pi 4 or anything. To return.
