UPDATE 7/26/2021: TLDR - Skullcandy sent out a warranty replacement and they are working fine now. Full Version - After making a warranty claim with Skullcandy and sending them the defective headphones (using the shipping label they sent me) I got a response fairly quickly that they would send me a replacement pair. The new headphones arrived over the weekend and today I used them for the first time. They work perfectly and I am completely satisfied with Skullcandy's customer service. I'll adjust my rating accordingly. Of course, the main issue with them is a potential long-term issue that I might not be able to identify at the moment, so I'll be back here every few months (or as needed) to adjust the review as things go. with headphone swap. For now I'm giving this review three stars. UPDATE 7/7/2021: I've been trying to contact Skullcandy about this for a few weeks as it's too late to return via Revain. The Skullcandy warranty portal on the website was down, but as of yesterday it's up and running again. I have submitted a warranty claim and will update this review as Skullcandy support progresses. The image shows these Ink'd+ Active headphones (black) on the left and the old Skullcandy-style wireless headphones (black and blue) on the right that I had for a number of years. I bought the Ink'd+ to replace the old ones because the part that opens to plug in the charging cable was showing some wear and I was having trouble putting the headphones back in my ear regularly. The design of these new headphones is great for keeping the headphones in place and the sound quality was decent. However, after a little less than three months of use, they stopped working. Holding down the power button does nothing. The LED does not light up when connected to the charger. Now I have to go back to my old ones until they fail completely and I don't know what to buy after they fail. I see other reviews saying they just stop working after a period of time. The company doesn't seem to mind if this happens to a certain number of customers. As it's been over a month I'm pretty sure I can't get a refund or exchange at the moment. Having used my old kit for years, it is clear that I am taking care of my devices and that the quality of the components used by the company must go down. A very disappointing experience and a waste of time and money.
