Poorly thought out nonsense. There was also a broken back button.

If you press the forward button to start the extrusion, the extrusion will continue until you press the button and press it again. In other words, you press a key to switch extrusions. This makes the stylus very difficult to use, precisely because the cheap buttons they used require little force to press. Enough force to make it impossible to hold the pen in your drawing. You can't hold down the button and stop the extrusion when you release it. It also automatically retracts when you stop…

Nice 3D pen with limitations

This is the first 3D pen I have bought. That being said, I found the instructions quite clear and the handle quite comfortable to hold. Loading threads was pretty easy. BUT. This type of tool requires a serious learning curve, lots of experimentation, and an initial waste of filament. Here's my advice: buy extra filament (PLA) when you buy a pen. Price and quality make this 3D pen a winner.

I was really surprised how much I like this 3D pen. I have been in the technology field for over 25 years and have focused on 3D technology for the last 5 years. I usually use 3D printers, so I had to learn a bit when I started using 3D pens. I've bought pens for $30 to $200. This pen is a good mid-range pen that offers quality, comfort, durability and is incredibly easy to use. It has a really nice slanted design which I like because my hand gets tired quickly after using the pens for a while.
