Review on Smith & Nephew Skin-Prep Protective Dressing Wipes (Box of 50): Enhanced Skin Protection and Dressing Application by Dennis Goozmer

Purchased for use with manufacturer recommended swelling device to prevent sticking and skin irritation before applying the electrode tape. I found this to be very similar to an alcohol wipe that cleans the skin's surface of any oils. This made it very difficult to remove the gel pads from the electrodes because they were stuck to the skin. Use a simple body lotion and leave it on for a few minutes, then apply to the skin prepared for the electrode, which allows the electrode to be removed easily and will not irritate the skin.
