As an office manager, retired at 72. I am far from being a computer scientist. I purchased this product to view items on my big screen TV to see more detail than my desktop computer. Reasonable price, fast service and very good product. I bought a cable that I found compatible and then measured the distance from the objects to be connected. That was a mistake, take a tape measure and look at the furniture you will be walking around and make it long enough to hide the cord. With this cable, I learn to weld, build new woodwork, and watch bigger programs on my TV. I would highly recommend this cable and as a regular Revain customer I am very satisfied.
