I bought these after a hot summer to see if they would add comfort on hot days. But I actually find them to be a great addition to my cold weather riding gear. I estimate they increase my comfort zone by about 10 degrees Fahrenheit when riding in a padded jacket and a lightweight Ibex wool base layer. The Przewalski shirt is skin-tight, allowing it to slip under even the tightest clothing. I sweat on even the coldest rides, and the high curve of this shirt wicks moisture away from the body so it doesn't get icy when you're speeding downhill or stopped at a stop light. Instead you have a nice warm pocket on your skin. This set of two shirts is very affordable considering you'll pay more than double for a similar shirt from a Scandinavian manufacturer. I have one of their wool base layers and Przewalski is just as effective. And even though it's a synthetic fiber, it doesn't stink. Maybe it's because it's nylon, not polyester, which can absorb body odor. The fit is tight as it should be. I have a 38" chest and 30" waist and size S fits perfectly.
