Review on GE 29875GE1 Phone Answering Machine by Jacqueline Lewis

The machine is used and was delivered without operating instructions. Most of the machine was relatively easy to set up, although some functions didn't seem to stay where I set them at the beginning (e.g. the time and day kept resetting to the first day of the year). That twist now seems to have corrected itself. Voice quality in messages is not as clear as I had hoped. When I tried setting the device to save calls, it barely rang before the announcement started and I didn't have enough time to get to the phone. I have now set it to 3 rings, but the announcement text begins directly after the 2nd ring. I'm very happy that I can turn the volume all the way down so I don't have to listen to incoming messages until I want to. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
