Well built and affordable, these Boss chairs are comfortable in many situations. The gas cylinder for the seat lift works properly and the first one I bought from Revain about 5 years ago still works perfectly. I found them particularly useful when playing acoustic guitar or bongos due to the lack of armrests. on the go, but still offers good back support, although you cannot adjust the height of the back support. I'm about 5'11" and have an average weight, and the firm back support hits me in about the right place. The legs of the rollers are wide and flat enough that I sometimes use them as an improvised footrest for the guitarist. back then. :)
