Let me start by saying that I have purchased this product 3 times, the first was just a stem with no cables. The instructions that came with the product say you can run your own XLR through the bar. There is an XLR male connector on the underside that needs to be unwound. It doesn't unwind, or rather it's sealed so it doesn't unwind. Thought it was just a defective model, asked for a replacement. #2 replacement stem, no cable, I still can't unscrew the end cap, again the instructions INSIDE the box say I can. Sent both back and just received the model with XLR cable. This one has a broken screw cap, the shaft just slips out, the rest is completely solid. Don't waste your time and money, buy from another seller.
