This device's predecessor, the Model 402, was almost impossible to set up wirelessly if you actually followed the inadequate instructions provided. I decided never to buy HP again and bought it because another reviewer claimed it was easy to set up. The setup is the same as it used to be, with bad software and guides that basically don't work. Here's how to set it up: 1- Connect the printer to the WiFi network using the printer's "touch screen" , it's cumbersome but doable 2- Download the software - there are multiple driver sources, the one referenced the instructions refer is not included the m404 3. This is the key - connect the printer with the cable and then run the setup program - - after setting it up with the cable connection, remove the cable and it should work
