Not as effective - for computer accessories and peripherals

I didn't find it as effective as the Cablemax 5000 Vrms Dongle USB Isolator. . My goal is to eliminate transient power surges. Actually this is not so, although it should be so. All I experience is low power consumption. Cablemax allows more with its USB 2.0 functionality and you would think that this GeekPI would be the best isolator for this purpose. Not so.
