Everything is fine but the phone rocks a little or vibrates on the bars. On a quick 10 mile ride in varied road conditions, the device held the phone with no issues, but the phone pulled through. jump a lot. Not necessarily a bad thing as it does impact the phone a bit, but one has to wonder how long it will last. The pivoting connection between the phone mount and the handlebar mount feels pretty solid and tight. Also, on oversized rods with tape on the rod, the rod attachment system is quite tight and there is no added security. If the strap breaks, the phone is lost. It doesn't look like it's going to fall apart, but there's a chance the band or bolt will break if you have to pull the band too hard. With a cheap disposable phone it doesn't matter, but if you have an expensive phone that you like, maybe not.
